In 2019, ahead of the 2019 U.S Open Championship, the BJKF brought together seven athletes from four sports with over four decades of stories to tell about their lives as athletes and members of the LGBTQ+ community. The event centered around participation in sports and used the power of storytelling and narrative shift to inspire future generations of leaders.
